My priorities
We can and we need to build a better future for each of us all. It’s important to start and to work for that change. I strongly believe in Romania’s potential to be a more democratic society, a place where social justice and Romanian people’s rights are respected. I believe in a society with #0ToleranceForViolence and without corruption, a country that will help us all grow not worrying about an unpredictable and ineffective system.
I believe that just a nation potential means nothing without a lot of work and devotion. I want to offer us, Romanian people from home and abroad, reasons to live our life together with our friends and family with dignity and pride.
During my mandate, my priorities will be to:
Support Romanian entrepreneurs and create a strong legal framework based on fairness, accountability and transparency;
Support young people by offering them an educational system adapted to the work market’s demands;
Ensure a patient-centered health care system;
Reform state-owned enterprises and offer them access to a professional management system;
Decentralization, digitalisation and bureaucracy reduction of central and local authorities and institutions;
Support anti-discrimination and ending domestic abuse policies;
Establish a permanent dialogue with our strategic partners – European Union and USA, to obtain the necessary support for Romania’s development by extending our economic partnership agreements.
Only together we can make a difference and build the country we all want. I believe that change must come from the actions in our everyday life – from the way we act in traffic, on public transport, on the street and the respect we have for people around us, to the responsible and sustainable consumption of resources in Romania’s interest.
There is no time to waste! Let’s use every day we have to prove that it’s possible to make a change and that our goals will define our country. Each day and each action are an investment in our future and Romania’s national progress.
„The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
It is in everyone’s best interest, especially from an economic perspective, that all members of society should be engaged and productive, to be able to contribute to the value created in Romania.
YOUTH AND CHILDREN
1 out of 2 young people under the age of 24 live in poverty. Today’s young people and children are full-time citizens and need a good environment to build Romania of tomorrow.
PUBLIC HEALTH
We are positioned on the penultimate place as average life expectancy (75 years) in the EU due to an inefficient distribution of resources. We currently allocate only 4% of GDP to the health sector.
ECONOMY
We need to use the competitive advantages of different sectors to reposition Romania as an essential player on the European and global value chain.
Let’s change Romania together!
Don’t forget that great things are not made by a single individual! Let’s use every day we have to prove that it’s possible to make a change and that our goals will define our country. Come join my team!
